Rich has been in the ready mix industry for 32 years. He started with R.E.Monks Construction Company an in 1981. During the course of 18 and a half years ,Rich has erected onsite batch plants for federal prison construction, remote portable plants for commercial work and localized stationary plants. With multiple plants come mixers trucks, road trucks, end dumps, belly dumps, cement tankers, shops, concrete pump trucks and people. His hands on general manager capabilities i.e. unit costs, cubic yard per hour productivity and costs control have served him well through the years. In 1999 Rich started a local Ready-Mix company: established a cliental, acquired a mining operation combined with a short line Railroad with several aggregate distribution centers. An understanding of quarry operations, rail usage, concrete mix designs and ready mix operations are all within his sphere of knowledge. You need the right equipment and personnel to get the job gone right the first time.
